Our Family Liaison Officers are here as a first point of contact for all families to offer guidance and provide support and resources. They can also support form filling, such as Disability Living Allowance and Grants.

Our Family Liaison Officers organise regular parent support groups, workshops, and fun events for families that involve fun activities for the children and information for parents and carers. They also provide regular opportunities to seek information from Health, Local Authority, Education, Sport and Voluntary sectors.

In brief, Family Liaison Officers

• Are a first point of contact for all families
• Help with enquiries about services and leisure activities that children and young people can access
• Offer guidance and support to help families navigate the ‘system’
• Signpost to the correct professionals and provide support and resources
• Offer support with form filling
• Ensure families are provided with access to appropriate services and to obtain feedback to inform service development
• Organise regular drop-in sessions where families can meet other organisations that can assist them
