Our Family Liaison Officers are here as a first point of contact for all families to offer guidance and provide support and resources. They can also support form filling, such as Disability Living Allowance and Grants.
Our Family Liaison Officers organise regular parent support groups, workshops, and fun events for families that involve fun activities for the children and information for parents and carers. They also provide regular opportunities to seek information from Health, Local Authority, Education, Sport and Voluntary sectors.
If you have a child or young person diagnosed or undergoing an assessment for a disability or developmental difficulty and live in Newport, South Torfaen or South Monmouthshire, you can contact our Family Liaison Officers Jayne and Sarah by phone on 01633 748013 or email family.liaison.abb@wales.nhs.uk.
"It has been such a huge comfort and a truly valued service to us as a family. It is so reassuring to know that there is someone you can call when you are feeling at a loss on how best to support your child. "
