Make sure you spread the word widely and often as far in advance as you can, in the period leading up and during to your fundraiser, and share your journey after the event.

Shout about your fundraising to all of your friends, family and colleagues. Social media is perfect for updating people with your progress, asking for help and inviting people to your event - just try and give people as much notice as possible!

Getting together with friends and family is the perfect place to start. Why not get fit with a sponsored walk/run, if you like cooking you could host a Come Dine With Me style event or for those who like all things trivia try hosting a quiz night!
 

In work

Raising money at work is great fun. Get work colleagues to bring in photos when they were babies for a guess who competition or stage an Office Olympics with events like who can make the most holes with a hole punch in 60 seconds.
 

With children

Raising money with children is a wonderful way of helping them learn about the importance of helping others. Fun ways to do this include talent shows, fancy dress days & yummy cake sales!
